Firefighters in Chatham-Kent, Ont., were able to rescue multiple cats from a structure fire on Wednesday, according to a social media(external link) post by the local fire department.
One could be seen receiving oxygen at the scene by a firefighter.
Crews responded to an Ella Street North home in Tilbury around 11 a.m., and eventually were able to extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A damage total was not immediately released by the fire department.
No injuries were reported.
