Halifax Regional Police are turning to the public for help to find a vehicle that was used by the suspect in the 

shooting death of 38-year-old Uriah Lemar Black

Police were called to a report of a shooting on McFatridge Road in the Fairview neighbourhood of Halifax on Thursday, Feb. 20, at around 6:20 a.m.

The victim was found unconscious on a sidewalk and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, a police news release said. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators say the suspect was driving a blue Honda CRV.

Police want anyone with information that could&nbsp;identify the vehicle, its owner or its current location to contact them at 902-490-5020.&nbsp;

Police are also looking for video from McFatridge Road and surrounding streets between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 20.

Police said they do&nbsp;not believe the shooting was a random incident.
