Here's who's running in the provincial election in Hamilton, Burlington, Niagara and area

Candidates running in the provincial election, which Progressive Conservative leader Doug Ford triggered last week, were out knocking on doors this weekend and launching campaign runs.
Ontario voters are set to go to the polls on Feb. 27, and while parties are still scrambling to confirm candidates in some local ridings, the campaign is now in full swing.
The Elections Ontario website allows voters to find what riding they're in(external link).
Here's who's running, so far, for member of the Provincial Parliament (MPP) in Hamilton, Burlington, Niagara, Norfolk and Haldimand.
This story will be updated with the most current list of candidates, when confirmed or if any changes are made. CBC Hamilton will also be sharing more about candidates and their platforms in our ongoing coverage.
Candidates are listed in alphabetical order according to party name.

Burlington

The riding encapsulates most of the City of Burlington, except for parts of the city's north end.

Oakville North-Burlington

Oakville North-Burlington represents the area in Burlington northeast of the QEW and northwest of Walkers Line.

Flamborough-Glanbrook

The Flamborough-Glanbrook riding covers most of Hamilton's surrounding rural areas and includes communities like Waterdown, Rockton, Binbrook and Mount Hope.

Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas

This riding includes most areas of the West Mountain in Hamilton as well as areas south of the Canadian National Railway such as Ancaster and Dundas and communities like Copetown and Westdale.

Hamilton Centre

Hamilton Centre encompasses the lower city, north of the Niagara Escarpment, between Highway 403 and Kenilworth Avenue.

Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton Mountain covers most of the city's south between the Niagara Escarpment and Rymal Road. ONDP's Monique Taylor is the current MPP. She's held the seat since 2011 but will run in the federal election.

Hamilton East-Stoney Creek

This riding represents the city's east end, Stoney Creek and Winona.

St. Catharines

This riding encompasses most of the City of St. Catharines, Ont.

Niagara West

The Niagara West riding covers some of the City of St. Catharines west, the towns of Grimsby, Lincoln and Pelham, the townships of West Lincoln and Wainfleet and communities like Beamsville and Wellandport.

Niagara Centre

This riding represents the cities of Port Colborne, Thorold and Welland, as well as part of St. Catharines south of St. Paul Street West and of Glendale Avenue.

Niagara Falls

This riding covers the City of Niagara Falls and the towns of Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Brantford-Brant

This riding covers the City of Brantford as well as part of the Brant County, which includes Paris, Burford, and Oakland as well as Six Nations and New Credit.

Haldimand-Norfolk

Haldimand-Norfolk covers both counties and communities in it like Delhi, Simcoe, Port Dover, Townsend, Cayuga and Caledonia.
