Cornwall-area riding went PC in 2011, hasn't looked back
Cornwall is the hub for this southeastern corner of eastern Ontario, which also includes Winchester, Morrisburg and part of Akwesasne.
Voters have chosen the Progressive Conservatives in four straight elections after going with the Liberals after the riding took its current shape in 1998.
Nolan Quinn took about 58 per cent of the vote in 2022.
Two candidates are currently running for the seat. The Liberals said in a news release on Jan. 19 they'd nominated Ryan St-Jean, who told CBC Feb. 4 that he had withdrawn.
CBC adds candidates when they're confirmed by Elections Ontario or listed by one of the four parties with a seat at Queen's Park at dissolution. Nominations close Feb. 13.
Voting is now possible at local election offices. Advance voting locations are open Feb. 20-22. Voting day is Feb. 27. Elections Ontario has more information on the range of voting options.
