RCMP say Lance Beaulieu was last seen on Friday
Search efforts are underway to help locate a man who went missing in Yellowknife on Friday.
In a news release on Saturday, Yellowknife RCMP said Lance Beaulieu was last seen wearing a dark green and black checkered coat, white toque, blue jeans and brown hiking boots. They asked anyone with information on where he might be to contact the Yellowknife RCMP.
Beaulieu's niece, Farren Amanda Dawn Beaulieu, said members of his family are also organizing a search for him.
She said they believe he was last seen on the Dettah ice road.
The search will be starting on Great Slave Lake at the Con Mine dock at 1 p.m. Monday.
They are inviting anyone who wants to help to join the search.
Farren Amanda Dawn said Beaulieu is 41 years old.
Corrections:- A previous version of this story said a search would start on Great Slave Lake at Con Road. In fact, it was scheduled to take place on Great Slave Lake at the Con Mine dock. January 7, 2025 6:15 PM
