As Nova Scotians take some time this holiday season to reflect on the past year, the region's most compelling news stories help to paint a vivid picture of life in the province.
From extreme weather events to health-care nightmares, flying sailboats and a bear stuck in a tree — CBC Nova Scotia brought you the many highs and lows of the past 12 months.
Here are some stories from 2024 that have visuals so memorable, we won't soon forget them.
