RCMP are investigating after officers discovered human remains in an&nbsp;abandoned, burned vehicle in&nbsp;Greenhill, N.S.

The person has not yet been identified and the situation is considered suspicious, police said in a news release Monday.&nbsp;

Officers in&nbsp;Pictou County were called to&nbsp;MacLean Road on Saturday afternoon.&nbsp;Const. Dominic Laflamme said the RCMP&nbsp;remained at the scene on Monday afternoon.&nbsp;

He said there was no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to the public.
