Dalhousie University's fourth annual Stanfield Conversation explores The U.S. Election and Democracy's Global Fate.(external link)

The conversation was held on Wednesday, 7 p.m. Nov. 20, 2024, in the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, Dalhousie Arts Centre in Halifax.

Taking place two weeks after the U.S. presidential vote, the featured speakers(external link) include:
  • Doug Saunders, The Globe and Mail international affairs columnist
  • Debra Thompson, Canada Research Chair in Racial Inequality in Democratic Societies and Associate Professor of Political Science at McGill University
