A 34-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting in&nbsp;north-end Halifax last week.

Halifax Regional Police were called to the 3600 block of Rosemeade Avenue around 7:30 a.m. AT on Sept. 5 after receiving a report of an&nbsp;injured person.

In a news release Wednesday, police said they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect was scheduled to appear in&nbsp;provincial court to face a charge of attempted murder.

Investigators are looking for information or video from the area. The police can be reached directly at&nbsp;
