York police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal daytime shooting in Vaughan Friday.
Officers were called to a home in the area of Islington and Kiloran avenues around 2:12 p.m. for a report of shots fired, York Regional Police said in a news release Monday.
They located a man suffering from gunshot wounds, who was taken to hospital where he died.
Police identified the victim as a 57-year-old Vaughan man Jorge-Ivan Navas.
Investigators are looking for a black 2013 Ford F150 that was reported as stolen and has not yet been located. The truck has an Ontario licence plate with "BG15799" on it. Police have not provided any suspect details.

An investigation is underway, and police say they believe the shooting was targeted.
Anyone who has information or may have seen the vehicle in the area of the shooting between Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 is asked to contact police.
