A 90-year old man from Heatherton, N.S.,&nbsp;was pronounced dead at the scene&nbsp;after a head-on collision in Antigonish County on Monday.

The RCMP&nbsp;said in a news release that&nbsp;a Nissan Murano SUV was driving eastbound on Highway 4 in James River when it crossed the centre line.

The SUV collided head-on with a westbound tractor-trailer&nbsp;after negotiating a curve. Police say the 50-year old Westville man driving the semi was not physically injured.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;RCMP are continuing to investigate the collision.&nbsp;
