Police turn to public to ID suspect in Dartmouth shooting

Multiple shots were fired at a man who was waiting at a bus stop on Colford Avenue on Monday morning

Police in Halifax are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in a shooting that occurred in Dartmouth on Monday morning.
Police were called to the 100 block of Colford Avenue at 6:40 a.m. and found a man who had been shot. The man was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect fired multiple shots at the man, who was waiting at a bus stop. They say the suspect got away on a motorcycle. Police think the suspect was around the MacKay Bridge shortly after the shooting.
In a release Friday, police released two photos of the suspect. He was wearing a black jacket over a grey hoodie, dark jeans, sneakers and a black helmet. He was riding a blue and grey sport-style motorcycle.
