The Newfoundland-based writer Don McKay has been publishing poems about the natural world since the '80s. This year, he was honoured with the Lifetime Recognition Award(external link) from the Griffin Poetry Prize. In celebration of the honour, McKay reads two poems that are particularly meaningful to him and chats with Q's Tom Power(external link) about the themes that run through his work.
