CBC is proud to be a presenting sponsor on Wednesday, July 10
The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival returns to Saskatoon's Victoria Park this year, with 10 days of music and fun.
The festival, which runs July 4 to July 13, features free events around the city during the first two days. The next four days will be free to the public, with the last four days being ticketed.
The concerts — featuring not only Saskatchewan musical talent but also talent from across Canada and beyond — are a key part of Saskatoon's summer.
CBC is proud to be a presenting sponsor on their first ticketed day, Wednesday, July 10. Have your ticket? Come join us at Victoria Park! We'll have an Olympic-themed friendship bracelet station, photo booth and much more.
Here are some of the key acts:
- July 10 brings the headliner of Shakey Graves, the blues, folk, country, and rock and roll legend. Also gracing the stage are the stylings of Blue Moon Marquee and many more.
- July 11 features country singer Johnny Reid as the headliner of the evening. Earlier in the day, fans can catch folk/roots singer Jeffery Straker and other talented musicians.
- On July 12, the legendary Arturo Sandoval graces the stage with his jazz stylings. Keep your ears open for the homegrown Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra playing earlier that night.
- On July 13, Melissa Etheridge and Jewel round out the festival, and earlier in the day Anna Haverstock performs.
What else is happening at the Jazz Festival?
Activities include Food Truck Village, the 9 Mile Legacy Artisan Market, the Family Fun Area, the Saskatoon Co-op Beer Garden, Yoga in the Park, and more.
