Londoners once again dug deep for our neighbours in need, donating an incredible $63,021.05 and nearly 250 kg of food!
CBC London dedicated the month of December to raising awareness about food insecurity, acts of generosity in our community and the unprecedented need at the London Food Bank.
We kicked off the month with a live broadcast of London Morning at the food bank warehouse where people involved in grassroots projects told us why they are motivated to give back.
Thanks to your kindness, $54,500 was raised in donations during the live broadcast on Dec. 8 and 170 kg of food was collected for the London Food Bank.
