What to know about the Roblin riding for Manitoba's 2023 election

The riding of Roblin, which covers part of west Winnipeg and Headingley, was created in the 2018 riding redistribution from the former Charleswood riding and a small chunk of the former Morris riding.
The riding is bounded to the south by Winnipeg city limits and the limits of the rural municipality of Headingley.
The RM's boundary also makes up the western edge of the riding, and its northern border outside the city. Within Winnipeg, the riding's northern boundary is the Assiniboine River.
North of the Assiniboine River, the riding's eastern boundary is city limits. Laxdal Road and McCreary Road make up the eastern boundary to the south of the river.
The riding includes Headingley and the Winnipeg communities of Westdale, Charleswood and Lakewood.
The riding's population is 25,070, according to Elections Manitoba's 2023 riding profile(external link) (compiled using data from the 2021 census).
The median age in Roblin is 44, according to the riding profile — older than the provincial median of 38.4(external link). The median household income in the riding is $109,000, according to the riding profile.
