J. Edward Chamberlin is a professor at the University of Toronto and a former senior research associate with the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples. He is the author of several books including Horse: How the Horse Has Shaped Civilizations and If This Is Your Land, Where Are Your Stories?: Finding Common Ground. Chamberlin is an Officer of the Order of Canada.
