The athletes have returned to their home provinces and the volunteers are back to their regular jobs. The 2023 Canada Winter Games on P.E.I. officially came to an end Sunday night with the closing ceremonies.

 — finishing 11th out of the 13 provinces and territories — the smiles on all the participants suggested it was a successful Games with lasting memories.

The 2023 Canada Games have ended. But some Islanders say the sporting event will continue to have a positive impact on the province for years to come.

The 2023 Canada Winter Games kicked off in P.E.I. over the weekend, as athletes from all 10 provinces and three territories attended the opening ceremony in Charlottetown.
