London police are investigating an early morning stabbing that happened outside their new foot patrol office on Dundas Street.
Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call in relation to a man being stabbed in the area of Dundas and Richmond Streets at around 8:45 a.m.
The man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The downtown storefront at 183 Dundas St. has been renovated over the past year to serve as a base of operations for the force's foot patrol unit, as a part of the city's Core Area Action Plan.
Its grand opening is scheduled for later Wednesday afternoon.
