Acadia alumni group wants to revive program to change university's drinking culture

Acadia University's alumni association wants to change the drinking culture at the school. The group is trying to relaunch the Blue and Red Crew, which began in 2012 after an alcohol-related death of an Acadia student.

Canada, U.S., Mexico to vote on investigation into U.S. efforts to protect right whales

A complaint, filed under the the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement, will force Canada to pass judgment on efforts by the United States to protect North Atlantic right whales.

This small, female, North Atlantic right whale, died from severe entanglement this summer. A necropsy was performed on Miscou Island, New Brunswick in August. The whale was one of 16 that were found dead this summer.

N.S. renews industrial licence for Cape Breton's underground Donkin coal mine

Nova Scotia's Environment Department has renewed the operating licence for Donkin's underground coal mine, with a few new conditions.
