This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Harbour Lights(external link) campaign, raising money to help feed families in southwestern N.B. Since 1997, thanks to the kindness and generosity in our communities, Harbour Lights has raised more than $3.5 million dollars in support of local food banks.
Each year, Port Saint John installs a giant Christmas tree on the Saint John harbourfront, covered with strings of hundreds of bulbs. As donations are made, the tree is lit until the entire tree is covered with twinkling lights. Once the fundraising goal is reached, the star at the very top of the tree is illuminated.
We're back with our Saint John City Market show
Join Information Morning in person at the Saint John City Market for a special Harbour Lights show on Friday, Dec. 16 at 6 a.m. with special musical guests Ladd and The Christmas Dads. Masks are strongly encouraged.
