A 38-year-old man is dead and a 19-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder after a stabbing&nbsp;in Powerview-Pine Falls.

RCMP were called around 1 a.m. Saturday to a house&nbsp;on Josse Street,&nbsp;in the Manitoba community&nbsp;about 90 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg.

The&nbsp;38-year-old man was pronounced dead&nbsp;at the scene, where Sebastian Johnston, 19,&nbsp;was also found and taken into custody.

No further information is available as RCMP continue to investigate the incident.

The Winnipeg Police Service’s professional standards unit is investigating a complaint by a father who says an off-duty officer aggressively interrogated his 14-year-old daughter at her high school, saying she hit his car with her hand while crossing the street.

Charges have been stayed against a woman previously accused of manslaughter in the death of her infant daughter, whose body was found in a garbage bin in a north Winnipeg back lane in May.
