The 2022 Scotiabank Giller Prize finalists will be embarking on a cross-country tour to discuss their shortlisted books.

The $100,000 prize is the biggest in Canadian literature. The winner will be announced on Nov. 7, 2022 at an awards ceremony in Toronto.
Artist, poet and performer Rupi Kaur and actor Sarah Gadon will co-host the broadcast. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBC TV, CBC Gem(external link), CBC Listen(external link) and CBC Radio(external link) at 9 p.m. local time (11:30 AT/12 midnight NT) and will be streamed online at CBC Books(external link), YouTube(external link) and Facebook(external link) at 9 p.m. ET.
