Power restored to most of Nova Scotia, more than 4,500 without power in P.E.I. 2 weeks after Fiona

Maritime Electric says P.E.I. customers could be without power for another week
While all but a few dozen customers in Nova Scotia were without power Sunday night, more than 4,500 customers in Prince Edward Island were still waiting for the lights to come back on in the wake of a post-tropical storm that hit the region more than two weeks ago.
Nova Scotia
As of 7 p.m. AT Sunday, around 100 Nova Scotia Power customers did not have electricity, according to the Nova Scotia Power outage map.
There were about 415,000 customers without power at Fiona's peak.
Most of the affected customers were in the northeast of the province.
Prince Edward Island
As of 8 p.m. AT Sunday, over 4,500 Maritime Electric customers were affected by power outages across P.E.I.
Kim Griffin, a spokesperson for Maritime Electric, said in an update Friday that some customers could be without power until Oct. 14 — three weeks after Fiona hit the region.
