There is no incumbent running in Ward 22
Ward 22's name has changed since the last election and Carol Anne Meehan, who won the council seat in 2018, is not running again leaving the race open.
The ward used to be called Gloucester-South Nepean, but with the adding of a 24th ward, some ward names and boundaries, including this one, have shifted.
Four candidates are vying to take the council seat of the newly named Riverside South-Findlay Creek: Zainab Alsalihiy, Steve Desroches, Salah Elsaadi and Em McLellan.
Desroches represented Gloucester-South Nepean from 2006 to 2014, and Zainab Alsalihiy was the last person to successfully register to run for municipal council on deadline day.
Election day is Monday, Oct. 24.
