Rideau-Rockcliffe incumbent faces 2nd vote in 3 years

Incumbent won seat in 2019 byelection

Incumbent Rawlson King first represented Ward 13 Rideau-Rockcliffe after winning a byelection in 2019. Now he is facing off against three other challengers.
King took over from Tobi Nussbaum, who won the 2018 election in the ward only to step down to take a job with the National Capital Commission less than two months into his term.
King won in a byelection in 2019 by over 100 votes and with nearly 20 per cent of the votes cast, to become the city's first Black city councillor.
He is up against Clayton Fitzsimmons, Peter Jan Karwacki and Peter Zanette this time.
Election day is Monday, Oct. 24. For more information about where and how to vote, visit the city's election page(external link).
