Lots of door-knocking in Knoxdale-Merivale

Ward 9 is busy this election, with 7 candidates on the ballot in year

After serving for three terms on council — the last as the chair of board of health — Keith Egli has said it's time to move on.
Now, seven people are running to replace him, including communications strategist Joseph Ben-Ami, James Dean, who finished second in 2018, playwright and community activist Sean Devine, Myles Egli (yes, he's Keith's brother), Peter Anthony Weber, Peter Westaway, who'd like to change how the Greenbelt is used, and business-advocate Michael Wood.
Election day is Monday, Oct. 24. For more information about where and how to vote, visit the city's election page(external link).
