After beating out an entrenched incumbent in the 2018 election, Glen Gower now faces three competitors in the west-end ward of Stittsville.
Mathew Duchesne, Tanya Hein and Kevin Hua are all hoping to unseat Gower.
In the last election, Gower got nearly 60 per cent of the votes cast.
