Last-minute challengers in Orléans West-Innes

2 candidates signed up in the last week to take on incumbent

Just a few days before nominations for this fall's municipal election closed last month, it looked like incumbent Laura Dudas might be acclaimed.
But last-minute challengers Lori Stinson and Chris Fraser registered to run in Orléans West-Innes in the days before the deadline.
Ward 2 is one of several that have been redrawn and renamed for the 2022 election. In 2018, Dudas beat out three opponents with 41 per cent of the votes cast in Innes, as it was called then.
Election day is Monday, Oct. 24. For more information about where and how to vote, visit the city's election page(external link).
