Worker rescued after partial building collapse in downtown Ottawa

A mantrapped inside a downtown Ottawa building after part of it collapsed has been freed, andappears to be uninjured.
The man wasrescued by emergency crewsaround 4:30 p.m., reported CBC Radio's Evan Dyer from the scene at Bank Street and Somerset Street West.
A wall of Somerset House, which houses the Duke of Somerset pub,came down without warning around 3 p.m., said Roy Stewart, one of three workers who wererenovating the building at the time.
Stewart and another man managed to escape, but the third man who was sitting in the cab of a Bobcat machine, gottrapped insidethe building, he said.
As of 4 p.m., at least a dozen ambulances, eight fire trucks and a hazardous materials truck were at thescene.
