What is Indigenous erotica? It's about the loving, sexual, 'dirty,' outrageous, and ribald intimacies of humanity and sexuality that we all crave. Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm is a poet, performer, librettist, spoken word artist and educator who founded Kegedonce Press, Ontario's longest running Indigenous literary publisher. A member of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation on the Saugeen Peninsula in Ontario, Akiwenzie-Damm is the author of the collection of short stories The Stone Collection, the poetry collection (Re)Generation and wrote the story Nimkii for This Place: 150 Years Retold.
