A woman who hadn't been seen since February in downtown Winnipeg has been located, police say.

The 40-year-old woman hadn't officially been reported missing until May, said police, who issued a news release in early June, asking the public for help&nbsp;finding her.

On Monday, police issued a one-line update about the woman being found safe.
