Another winter storm is coming to the East Coast on Friday, with the heaviest snowfall set to hit Nova Scotia.
Light snow will begin over western areas Friday morning, before arriving in Halifax and central areas near lunchtime.
The snow will spread into eastern areas through the afternoon.

By the time the afternoon commute begins, we'll have snow on the ground. Snowfall rates will be steady to heavy at times across much of mainland Nova Scotia.

While the winds won't be "strong" with this event, widespread gusts 30-40 km/h and gusts up to 50-60 along the Atlantic coastline will be enough to lead to some blowing and drifting, especially given the snow will be fluffy in nature.

Snow will taper off to flurries from west to east through Friday evening and overnight into Saturday morning.
By Saturday morning we're looking at 15-25 cm across the southwest and 5-15 cm across the northeast.
