The city of London saw at least 8 cm of snow overnight and more is on the way. The result is a number of school bus cancellations.
Most significantly, school buses are cancelled all day in Elgin and Oxford Counties and also in the red zone. For the most part, school buses are still running on schedule in the city of London and in Middlesex County.

Environment Canada has also issued a winter-weather travel advisory for this morning. It says snow will be heavy at times and blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Cheng says the snow will taper off around noon today, but lake-effect flurries will develop late this afternoon and into this evening, and they could bring further accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.
