Following&nbsp;the discovery of a deceased man in the 2100 block of Heseltine Road,&nbsp;the Regina Police Service along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating.&nbsp;

Patrol members were dispatched to the location&nbsp;for a report of a death on Sunday morning,&nbsp;just before 6:00 a.m. Officers located the body of an adult man, who was confirmed deceased.&nbsp;

The officers have secured the scene. Coroner services along with additional police resources were also requested. There was a heavy police on the ground through Sunday.

The police service&nbsp;is at its&nbsp;early stage of the investigation and has&nbsp;no other details for&nbsp;the public.

Arsenic levels in some Saskatchewan water sources are higher than what Health Canada deems acceptable. A PhD candidate at the University of Saskatchewan says he has found a way to reduce those levels by using agricultural residue. 

Prince Albert police recapture an inmate who disappeared for a few hours overnight Saturday

Duran Laplante, who was serving a three-year and three-month sentence for manslaughter for the fatal stabbing of 24-year-old Elijah Kozak, was unaccounted for during an inmate count at around 10 p.m. on Saturday. About four-and-a-half hours later, he was apprehended by Prince Albert police.

Prince Albert Police Service responded to four separate serious incidents over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Prince Albert City police have recaptured Duran Laplante who was at large from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary for a few hours overnight on Saturday.
