The Montreal 'horrorcore' rapper performed 'I Lie Here Buried' and 'Nine Hells' during the online broadcast

The 2021 Polaris Music Prize winner celebration took place on Sept. 27 in an online format.
On hand to pass the Polaris torch to this year's winner, Cadence Weapon's Parallel World, was last year's winner, "horrorcore" rapper Backxwash from Montreal.
In addition to performing those official duties, Backxwash performed two songs, "I Lie Here Buried" and "Nine Hells." Watch both performances below.
