Geraldo Valério, born in Brazil, also lives in Toronto. He started his career in children's publishing in 1995 with A Cobra Zola and in 2004 he illustrated Do You Have a Hat? His work has been published in Canada, the US, Brazil, Portugal, France, the UK and China. Some of his many highly acclaimed books include Friends; Blue Rider; Turn On the Night; My Book of Birds; Moose, Goose, Animals on the Loose and Jump, Leap, Count Sheep. He lives in Toronto.
