A 43-year-old Halifax-area man&nbsp;has died after the&nbsp;motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle in Seabright, N.S., Sunday evening.

RCMP said they received a call about the crash at 7:33 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, about 15 kilometres north of Peggys Cove. Police said the driver of the car was treated for minor injuries.

Peggys Cove Road&nbsp;was closed to traffic&nbsp;for several hours. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

New Glasgow woman, 41, charged with multiple counts of arson, mischief

A New Glasgow, N.S., woman is facing multiple charges of arson and mischief. The cases go back to early last year.

New Glasgow has dealt with a rash of suspicious fires over the last 18 months, including one at this vacant residence. A woman has been charged with nine counts of arson and three cases of mischief in connection to fires in the area.

3 charged for weapons possession after incident in Halifax

Three people have been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon after a motorist told Halifax police that another motorist had threatened him with a gun early Sunday.

Halifax Regional Police maintained the same level of calls it had before the pandemic. However, it has by far the highest call volume in the province with around 3,100 each year.
