Calgary Stampede 2021 will certainly be different from years previous but one constant remains: there will be wacky, and sometimes unorthodox, midway food available for purchase.
The Calgary Stampede has released a list(external link) of new food for the event, including Flamin' Hot Cheetos mini doughnuts, pickle lemonade and deep fried pork intestines on a stick.
There will be more 100 food vendors set up in the park this year, the Stampede's manager of programming, Kyle Corner, told The Homestretch(external link) on Tuesday.
"It's been a long journey this last year, but we have great partners in all the vendors, very creative folks who have been very hopeful and optimistic about July and planning their menus and all these wacky treats for Calgarians," said Corner.
Those who have always wanted to try a seafood ramen poutine can do so, and if you've ever been curious what a sushi tacos tastes like, this year is your opportunity to try them.
The event begins July 9 and runs for 10 days.
Here's a look at some other new additions you can try, if you feel tempted enough to visit the grounds this year.
