One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in North Sydney, N.S., on Sunday morning.

Cape Breton Regional Police responded to the crash near M.V. Osprey Ltd., a seafood wholesaler,&nbsp;at 7:13 a.m.

Police say a Toyota Corolla left the road and struck a steel container.&nbsp;

The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity&nbsp;has not yet been released.

N.S. public health targeting young adults to boost vaccination rates

Public health officials in Nova Scotia are looking at new strategies to convince more young adults to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Public Health says if people are nervous about receiving their vaccines at the clinics, they can ask to go to a private room or lie down.

N.S. Public Health no longer issuing potential exposures

In a news release Wednesday, the province said it no longer has the "necessary information" to report exposure sites accurately.

Moncton fertility clinic to expand, tackle waitlists under new owner

The Fertility Partners took over Conceptia last week after months of outcry from patients who said they were left in the dark about their treatments. The company is vowing to expand the clinic and cut down on long waitlists.

The company that has taken over Conceptia says it is immdiately investing in new equipment for the laboratory so they can create more embryos using in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Nova Scotia reports 11 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday

Nova Scotia reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the number of active cases to 62.

The vial has been given a collection number, and will be cleaned of any residue by a conservator before going into storage.
