Cape Breton Regional Police say a girl who went missing Tuesday afternoon has been found.&nbsp;

Police say the 10-year-old girl&nbsp;from&nbsp;Sydney, N.S., is&nbsp;safe.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Her family contacted police after she failed to return home on Tuesday afternoon.

Nova Scotia to lift self-isolation requirement for Atlantic Canadians

Beginning June 23, residents from Atlantic Canada can enter Nova Scotia without isolating for 14 days.

Beginning June 23, residents from the other Atlantic Canadian provinces can enter Nova Scotia without self-isolating.

N.S. reports 4 new COVID-19 cases, Phase 2 begins Wednesday

Nova Scotia will enter Phase 2 of its reopening plan with its lowest active case load in nearly two months. The province reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and 29 recoveries, bringing the total active caseload to 97 — the lowest number since April 21.

N.S. to waive ambulance fees for people who have adverse reactions to COVID vaccines

The change follows several people being told they didn't qualify for a waiver because their situation was not a COVID-related emergency.

The Nova Scotia government is now waiving the ambulance fee for anyone who experiences an adverse reaction to a COVID-19 vaccine.

Some Nova Scotians now eligible for at-home COVID-19 vaccinations

Nova Scotians who are unable to leave their homes because of health or mobility challenges can now receive a COVID-19 vaccine at home. The the province says vaccines will be administered in July and August following a screening process to confirm eligibility. 

Quebec is beginning the second phase of its vaccination campaign in long-term care homes across the province, but there's a hitch. Residents will be getting a different vaccine.
