Smoke swelled from the building and several rooms have been evacuated.&nbsp;

The cause of the fire is not known&nbsp;at this time.

Airlines pull back on summer plans for P.E.I. in light of reopening dates

The chief executive officer of the Charlottetown Airport Authority says Prince Edward Island's reopening plans are having a negative impact on the number of flights being scheduled for at least the early part of the summer.

It continues to be quiet at the Charlottetown airport during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the CEO sees hope on the horizon with after the federal government's fiscal update on Monday.
