The death of a man&nbsp;at the corner of Robie&nbsp;Street and Lady Hammond Road in Halifax on Monday has been ruled not suspicious&nbsp;by the medical examiner.

Halifax Regional Police were called to the area at 7:15 a.m.&nbsp;after the&nbsp;man was found dead near a beer and wine store.&nbsp;

A news release Wednesday from the police said their "thoughts remain with the loved ones of the deceased at this difficult time."

Police did not provide any further details about the man's identity.

Preliminary inquiry set for man charged with murder in Dartmouth homicide

Nicholas Roland Rhyno, a 33-year-old St. Margarets Bay man, will have a preliminary inquiry next spring on a charge of second-degree murder in the death this fall of Zachery Jordell Charles Grosse, 25.

Update on Dorian crane collapse investigation not expected for several months

A Labour Department report into the cause of the collapse of a crane in downtown Halifax in 2019 won't be complete until next year. A lawyer representing businesses and tenants says the investigation is complex and has been slowed by the pandemic.
