The number of hospitalizations is on the rise Quebec, putting the plan to allow gatherings over the holidays into doubt.
In spite of the fact red-zone restrictions remain in place, the daily average of cases in November climbed above 1,200.
At least 765 people died due to COVID-19 last month and more than 700 are in hospital.
Premier François Legault said he wants to see a reduction in the number of cases and hospitalizations — or gatherings will need to be cancelled.
He said a final decision will be made Dec. 11.
