No one in our community should go hungry

CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's annual Sounds of the Season for 2020 will be a week of programming on The Morning Edition. Tune in Monday-Friday from Dec. 7-11 every morning from 8 a.m. to 8:30 for daily Sounds of the Season music and stories.
Instead of you coming to us for a big live event broadcast, we'll bring you the musical guests and interviews you've come to expect from the live show.
During the week, there will be interviews with The Food Bank of Waterloo Region CEO Wendi Campbell, Leya Oommen and Ellen Brisley who made an app to give gifts to seniors, Jason Schill of J&J Cards and Collectibles, Paul Kroes of Kroes Christmas Tree Farm, dietitian Heidi Pola on how to make smaller meals this year and Rabbi Moshe Goldman on a special Hannukah parade being held this year.
Also joining us is happiness columnist Jennifer Moss and food columnist Andrew Coppolino takes a trip to Swine and Vine in Kitchener to learn how to make a low-cost meal.
Last year, the campaign raised more than $10,000 for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. That's enough money and food for 33,000 meals. To find out how to donate food in your area, click here(external link).
