A person at the Lake Vista Public School in Martensville, Sask., has tested positive for COVID-19.&nbsp;

The Prairie Spirit School Division said the school community has been informed and the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be in touch with close contacts.&nbsp;

More COVID-19 cases recorded at Regina schools, two outbreaks declared

The Saskatchewan Health Authority flagged serveral areas in Regina as potential COVID-19 exposure locations on Saturday, including some public transit routes.

Public health officials are investigating two cases of COVID-19 at the Regina Catholic School Division's Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School and one case within the public school division's Thom Collegiate.

Saskatoon is now dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks at three of the city's high schools.

Officials with the Saskatoon Public School Division said they wish the Saskatoon Christian School well, but confirmed they won't be renewing an associate-agreement between the division and the independent school.

The head office of the Saskatoon Public School Division can be seen in this CBC file photo. On Saturday afternoon, the school division issued a press release indicating a COVID-19 outbreak was set to be declared at Marion M. Graham Collegiate.  

The school division said because of privacy reasons they cannot share details. The division said their thoughts are with the person and that everyone has the responsibility to decrease the risk of COVID-19 in schools.&nbsp;

Schools and families are reminded to remain diligent in doing their own daily health screening questions, staying home if they are ill, practising proper hand hygiene and physical distancing protocols, and calling HealthLine 811 if a person has COVID-19 symptoms.&nbsp;

The school division said the Saskatchewan Health Authority is conducting contact tracing.
