Provincial police in North Bay&nbsp;have fined a teenager after&nbsp;receiving a complaint about a large house party in East&nbsp;Ferris Township on Saturday night.

OPP say officers went to a house on&nbsp;Eglington Road N., just before midnight, and officers said they found between 40 and 50 youth in the home.&nbsp;

The party-goers were all under the age of 20, and police say they ticketed the 18-year-old&nbsp;host with violating the Reopening Ontario Act,&nbsp;which limits indoor social gatherings to 10 people or less.

Police say the fine for violating the act is&nbsp;$880.

Ontario Provincial Police remind the public that everyone is responsible to comply with federal and government orders to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Nearly 200 tickets issued in relation to Wasaga Beach, Ont., car rally

Police have issued nearly 200 tickets related to a car rally at an Ontario beach town that violated COVID-19 safety protocols.

Officers had to close the town of Wasaga Beach to non-residents on Saturday after hundreds of car enthusiasts gathered over the weekend.

Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora charged a 38-year-old man on Saturday, after receiving a complaint about a large gathering of people at a residence in the south side of the northern Ont., town. The man was charged with failing to comply with an order made during an emergency.
