Second record-setting day for Stanhope

Some P.E.I. communities set heat records on Tuesday.
St. Peters, Stanhope, Charlottetown, Summerside and North Cape reached record temperatures for a Sept. 29.
It was the second-straight record-setting day for Stanhope, which hit 25.3 C Monday and 26.2 C Tuesday.

Tuesday also marked the 97th time this year that a temperature at or above 20 was reported at Charlottetown airport. The 30-year average is 79 days per year.
Temperatures are forecast to remain well above normal into Saturday.
