The Canadian Hurricane Centre is keeping an eye on&nbsp;Isaias, a newly formed hurricane headed toward Florida that could also make its way up the Eastern Seaboard.

According to the centre, the storm could reach Canada by early next week.

&nbsp;Isaias had maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h early Friday, according to reporting by The Associated Press.

The hurricane centre anticipates it will have more updates to share over the weekend.

Sexual assault reported at Point Pleasant Park

Halifax Regional Police say the incident was reported on Thursday at 12:20 p.m. They said a man approached a woman he didn't know near the Young Avenue entrance and attempted to touch her in a sexual manner.

Top court orders most of B.C., N.S. cabinet docs around pay for judges to remain secret

The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled the vast majority of confidential cabinet documents in two provinces should remain secret, in cases dealing with how judges are paid.

The decision deals with two separate cases in Nova Scotia and British Columbia where lower courts in had ordered the production of cabinet documents that are traditionally kept highly confidential. In the Nova Scotia case, the court ruled some documents should be released.
