If you looked up at the starry sky throughout July, you might have&nbsp;noticed a specific bright ball racing across the stars in the northwestern sky&nbsp;with a ribbon of light trailing behind it.&nbsp;

That was&nbsp;the NEOWISE comet,&nbsp;officially known as C/2020 F3 and discovered on March 27 by NASA's Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer&nbsp;mission.

There's a new comet in the sky: Here's how you can see it

If you’re willing to get up early this week, you’re in for a magnificent sight: an early morning comet.

There's a new comet gracing the early morning sky, Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE). Over the coming days, the comet will move to the evening sky.

Comet NEOWISE was, at first, only visible through powerful telescopes, but has recently brightened enough to be seen through binoculars.

Guards to be posted at Basin Head to prevent jumps and dives

A short-term ban on jumping and diving into the channel at Basin Head Provincial Park, to let dredging take place, has turned into a season-long prohibition.

P.E.I. pandemic information gathering might be too much, says civil rights group

The P.E.I. government owes Islanders and Atlantic Canadians an explanation for the private information it is collecting during the pandemic, says the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.

Officials from P.E.I. Highway Safety question a driver who just came over the Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick. All travellers are being questioned before being allowed to enter the province. Non-essential travel is forbidden, and some people are being turned away, officials say.
